There are two routes students can take in regards to accommodation: residence halls and off-campus accommodations. While CityU does offer on-campus accommodation to exchange students, space is limited and filled based on a lottery system. However, CityU has a great support system in place for those students who do not get placed into on-campus accommodation, who wish to live off campus, or are seeking temporary housing options upon arrival.
Student dormitories
Most accommodation options take the form of residence halls locations just 10 minutes from campus by foot. Each hall has their own mission (i.e. to serve humanity, celebrate diversity, "happy & free"), and provide options for either single or double rooms. More information about student dormitories can be found here.
Off-campus accommodation
CityU has several resources available to students planning or needing to live off-campus. Among these resources include but are not limited to the following:
City University of Hong Kong offers the following scholarship opportunity:
Outstanding Athletes Entrance Scholarship for Non-Local [Exchange] Students Students awarded this scholarship will receive HK$10,000 (approx. US$1,250) per semester.
