Program Overview

CIEE Virtual Global Internships allow you to experience the changing world of work without leaving your home! Drawing from our robust network of companies and host organizations in more than 15 cities around the world, we will match you with an 8-week, project-based internship based on your academic profile and career goals. Participants can expect to learn to  navigate synchronous and asynchronous collaboration across time zones while gaining critical on-the-job skills like self-confidence, independence, and project management.

This program contains 200-240 internship hours in total. That breaks down to 25-30 hours/week. This is a great option for students whom wish to have an intensive professional development experience which is nearly full-time in nature.

This program is designed in a non-credit format. However, speak to your university and we can work with you and your advisor to determine how we can help you achieve credit for participating in the program.
